About Dr Robert George
Dr Robert George is a Board-Certified Specialist Surgeon with additional fellowship training in Breast Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Emergency Surgery.
Dr George completed Medical School in 2007 as the University Medallist. After graduation he sought out experience in a variety of medical fields and subsequently focused on Surgical Training. His training was based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney. During this time, he completed a Masters of Surgery and undertook a Scientific PhD in Stockholm, Sweden in 2017.
Robert was awarded his Fellowship by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020. He then completed three additional sub-specialty Fellowships in Emergency Surgery, Breast Surgery and Melanoma-Sarcoma-Endocrine surgery in centres at Royal North Shore Hospital, the Melanoma Institute of Australia and Prince of Wales Hospital.
In addition to clinical work, Dr George continues to participate in medical research. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney Medical School and Board Examiner.
