Eyelid Surgery and Brow Lifts

Eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty) is a procedure that removes excess skin, fat, or muscle from the eyelids to change from a droopy look to a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

The surgery can focus on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. Upper eyelid surgery involves removing excess skin that causes drooping, while lower eyelid surgery addresses puffiness or bags beneath the eyes. During a consultation, I’ll assess your eyelids and discuss your goals to determine the best approach for you.

Blepharoplasty is typically performed under local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia, depending on your comfort level and the extent of the procedure. Incisions are made along natural creases or just below the eyelash line, minimizing visible scarring. After removing excess tissue, the incisions are carefully closed to create a smooth and natural appearance.

Brow Lifts can help achieve a youthful exotic look for both men and women. The procedure involves removing redundant skin above the brow which then lifts as it heals.

Recovery from surgery usually involves some swelling and bruising, which should subside within a week or two. Dr George will provide detailed aftercare instructions to help with healing and ensure you feel comfortable during recovery. Most patients can return to light activities within a few days.
